How do I apply for certification under the Repair Bonus scheme?

Whether you're a shoemaker, clothing repairer or brand/retailer, the Repair Bonus lets you offer customers a discounted service, encouraging them to bring in their clothing or footwear for repair.

List of required documents

Company registration certificate (K-bis in France)

less than 3 months old: available from infogreffe.fr (or RNE, CMA or Insee certificate)

Certificate of compliance from the Urssaf

to be found on urssaf.fr (the name may vary, depending on your legal status)

*Tax compliance certificate

  • available in France from your “Professionnels” page on the impots.gouv.fr website impots.gouv.fr 

  • or from your tax office (SIE) - (this is not the Urssaf micro-entrepreneur tax certificate)

*The supporting documents must correspond to the SIRET (identification number) of the company applying for certification.

If you are not subject to tax or if you are exempt from some taxes, please provide a certificate of non-taxation from your local tax office (SIE)

Proof of expertise

Append a diploma awarded by the Textiles or Footwear industry OR a detailed CV proving that you have at least three years of experience in the repair business.

Proof of activity 1

6 invoices for customer repairs (less than 3 months old)

Proof of expertise 2

6 invoices for materials/tools (no cut-off date) or consumables (less than one year old)

ID

Passport or national ID card of the legal representative.

Refashion is the only organisation authorised to award Repair Bonus certification for textiles and footwear.
