Call for Research and Development Partnerships
On 2 July 2025, Refashion opened a Call for R&D Partnerships. The aim is to support innovative industrial projects targeting faster recycling of used textiles and footwear with a high environmental impact.
The Refashion R&D Partnership Call is still ongoing in 2026 and remains open for application submissions.
A funding scheme designed to support innovative industrial projects with a high environmental impact, dedicated to the development of eco-design and the faster recycling of used textiles and footwear.
New scheme to fund textile and footwear recycling projects
This new scheme replaces the former Innovation Challenge and Industrial Challenge. Its purpose to better address needs on the ground:
- A simpler, clearer process
- Proposals can be submitted at any time - the scheme is open all year round
