Trials Material preparation and recycling
Refashion regularly organises trials in Material Preparation and Recycling involving the industry players registered on its Recycle platform. Trials involve advanced sorting and preparation for the recycling of post-consumer non-reusable textiles and footwear, based on recyclers' specifications.
The aim is to accelerate the development and deployment of industrial solutions for material preparation and recycling, in response to the practical needs expressed by recycling processors. These trials contribute to establishing priorities in industrial recycling in France and Europe.
Scope of the trials
For sorting and material preparation operators
- Advanced sorting and material preparation
- Quality control
- Shipment of prepared materials to the recycling processor
For recycling processors
- Quality control of incoming material
- Recycling trials, if applicable
