2026 Second-Hand Call for Projects: 22 Winning Projects Supported by Refashion

For its 4th edition, Refashion's Second-Hand Call for Projects continues its ambition to accelerate the development of textile, household linen, and footwear reuse in France. In 2026, 22 projects, 22 initiatives supported to grow the second-hand market!

Open from April 14 to May 24, 2026, this call for projects aimed to support initiatives capable of addressing several key challenges:
  1. Helping collectors optimise and streamline second-hand circuits.
  2. Growing volumes through the attractiveness of the second-hand offer.
  3. Supporting scaling up and cooperation between stakeholders.
To accompany projects at every stage of their development, three levels of support were available:
  • Seed funding: up to €50,000
  • Development: up to €200,000
  • Industrialisation: up to €2M
For this 4th edition, Refashion is supporting 22 projects spread across France, with more than €2.5 million mobilised to accelerate the development of the second-hand market.

Occitanie

PHILTEX & RECYCLING

District: 30 (FR)

A collection and sorting operator, Philtex & Recycling is structuring and developing its B2B preparation centre around three pillars: automation of categorisation, development of product digitalisation, and consolidation of traceability, in order to scale up.

COLEO SOURCE ARIÈGE

District: 09 (FR)

The project deploys three complementary technological innovations to increase the reuse rate: RFID for item-by-item tracking, computer vision for automated characterisation, integrated management software for traceability, and investments in equipment to streamline logistics.

Nouvelle-Aquitaine

CETIA

District: 64  (FR)

A technical centre, CETIA is developing an AI-powered industrial automatic vision solution capable of analysing used shoes and classifying them according to their reuse or repair potential, targeting low closed trainers.

EBS LE RELAIS GIRONDE

District: 33  (FR)

The objective is to increase the volumes of TLC (textiles, household linen and footwear) reused locally by improving traceability and the attractiveness of the offer through better item selection, working on flow optimisation, preservation-friendly storage, and by developing a refurbishment activity (textiles and footwear).

ORIGIN is already developing a 100% French-based valorisation model built around live shopping to sell second-hand items, and will, with this support, integrate refurbishment operations to increase the value of items listed for sale, while progressively phasing out export outlets.

SOLITEX'OISE

Distric: 60 (FR)

The project is structured around three workstreams: the development of more qualitative characterisation of TLC (textiles, household linen and footwear), a partnership with the FAIRE association in Beauvais for the refurbishment of high-value items, and the strengthening of traceability tools to better measure environmental and social impacts.

The first French platform dedicated to second-hand lingerie, Abracadabra aims to transition from an artisanal to an industrial model by strengthening its logistics and refurbishment process, and by automating item-by-item tracking to absorb growing volumes.

TREMPLIN

District: 01 (FR)  

In a scaling-up logic, Tremplin is developing quality control and hygienisation activities for textiles, and is professionalising its footwear workshop through the acquisition of equipment dedicated to cleaning and minor repairs.

CTFC : Collectif Textile Franc Comtois

The CTFC is developing a new offering aimed at professionals: a catalogue of categorised items, available in stock under optimal conditions, with quality control stages, refurbishment, and digitalised logistics flows, in order to be a reliable B2B supply partner.

VOSGES TLC

The project aims to increase the local reuse rate over two years by structuring a professionalised refurbishment chain (quality control, cleaning, restoration) as well as the deployment of digital barcode-based traceability.

TISSONS LA SOLIDARITÉ

District: 75 (FR)

A network of social economy (ESS) organisations specialising in textile reuse, Tissons la Solidarité is carrying an unprecedented project: creating an industrial refurbishment hub capable of processing multi-source stock, by testing in real conditions a complete preparation chain (sorting, hygienisation, repair, labelling, logistics) coupled with real-time traceability and management software.

SNEAK'CŒURZ

A social integration workshop (Atelier Chantier d'Insertion) specialising in the reuse and refurbishment of sneakers, Sneak'CœurZ aims to industrialise its operations through traceability, the development of a characterisation AI, B2C/B2B commercial development, and the scaling up of the workshop, while creating social integration jobs.

EBS LE RELAIS VAL DE SEINE

The sorting centre wants to industrialise and expand three complementary activities: the internalisation of washing and stain removal (previously outsourced), the optimisation of textile repair, and the launch of a cobbling activity with prospects for integration training.

A provider of technological solutions, ENHANCY is developing an AI-powered recognition solution to automate and standardise the categorisation of second-hand items, in order to maximise the value of the stock while providing additional support to operational stakeholders. This solution also aims to equip stakeholders with tools to manage the entire reuse chain through data.

EMMAÜS FRANCE

District: 93 (FR) 

The project tests two business models in order to develop the cleaning and repair of shoes collected and sorted within Mouvement Emmaüs structures, through outsourcing to specialist training centres. The objective is both to find economic viability so as to integrate this activity into the traditional reuse business, and to increase the reuse rate of high added-value items that will be selected.

Jaiio aims to optimise its clothing and footwear processing chain, from collection to resale, by automating flows and integrating AI to reduce the unit processing cost of each item.

The association is implementing a barcode traceability system, optimising storage spaces and digitalising flow monitoring to improve stock management, stock visibility, and operational efficiency, while supporting the training of its teams.

Faced with the saturation of its premises, the association is fitting out a second 420 m² space with a storage area and a dedicated zone for hygienisation, cleaning, and quality control, in order to streamline operations and increase the volumes valorised locally.

To address three structural barriers (manual characterisation, insufficient traceability, and the absence of economic decision-making tools), Paradigme is sequentially developing three technological modules: real-time traceability, a characterisation AI, and a decision-support tool to assess the profitability of each repair.

French Guiana

The project structures and professionalises the textile reuse activity in French Guiana by improving the logistics and traceability of flows, increasing processing and refurbishment capacities, and progressively developing hygienisation and repair activities to address a significant territorial challenge.
