Boosting textile collection at voluntary drop-off points

Find out more about the advantages of signing up with Refashion, and make your voluntary drop-off points a key link in the recycling chain!

Collection, the first link in the chain

Voluntary drop-off points have a key role to play: making it easy for citizens to sort used clothing, household linen and footwear, so that they do not get thrown away as household waste.

Textile collection: the first step towards a second life

Voluntary drop-off points can take a number of forms:

  • Containers on the street, on private premises or at a waste collection centre,
  • A facility for recovering used textiles through an association, resale store or shop,
  • A textile collection event or door-to-door pick-up.
