Producing nonwovens made from recycled textile materials. The future production line will enable the manufacture of nonwovens for applications such as thermal and acoustic insulation.

Automatically sort and de-fiber end-of-life textiles to prepare them for recycling and restore their value.
The goal of the PARETO project (PlAteforme de REssourcement Textile Optimisée) is also to scale up surplus at the exit of sorting centers to accelerate the emergence of efficient recycling streams.

Oversee the commissioning and industrial deployment of an automated sorting unit using spectral recognition, with the long-term goal of processing 10,000 to 12,000 tons of textiles per year, primarily for closed-loop recycling.

The RECYCLocal project aims to provide the Occitanie region with a comprehensive industrial solution for textile waste recovery: sorting by composition and color, de-fibering, and selling the material to recyclers. An agile operational structure that enables continuous optimization of market opportunities and supports the development of new recycling pathways, along with rigorous traceability that meets the requirements of the digital product passport and customers.

Since 2010, Refashion has been investing in and supporting innovative projects through calls for proposals. As part of this call for proposals, the eco-organization has committed more than €5.6 million to co-finance 60 ambitious projects aimed at optimizing the recycling of used textiles and shoes that cannot be reused.
