Call for Tenders for Recycling Development

Today, the European recycling sector for Clothing, Household linen, and Footwear (CHF) cannot absorb all the volumes collected in France. However, industrial capacities exist and could allow these materials to be recycled and reincorporated into new finished or semi-finished products. To finance the incorporation of additional volumes of used non-reusable CHF into yarns or acoustic/thermal insulation for buildings, Refashion is launching its first Call for Tenders for Recycling Development.

The markets concerned

The Call for Tenders is structured around two markets, aligned with already industrialized recycling solutions:

  • Insulation Product Market: 20,000 tonnes, divided into lots of 500 tonnes.
  • Yarn Product Market: 500 tonnes, divided into lots of 25 tonnes.
  •
Each contract will be concluded for an initial period of 24 months, with an option for a 12-month extension. Several players may be selected for the same market, depending on the number of lots they commit to integrating into their productions.

Candidates must position themselves on at least 2 lots for each market they wish to respond to.
