Today, the European recycling sector for Clothing, Household linen, and Footwear (CHF) cannot absorb all the volumes collected in France. However, industrial capacities exist and could allow these materials to be recycled and reincorporated into new finished or semi-finished products. To finance the incorporation of additional volumes of used non-reusable CHF into yarns or acoustic/thermal insulation for buildings, Refashion is launching its first Call for Tenders for Recycling Development.
